The qualifier for the upcoming 18th IAAF world Athletics Championships has started today at the 2022 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championship who taking place this week at Eugene, Oregon from June 23 to June 26.
Sha'Carri Richardson failed to advance out of the first round of the 100 meters at the 2022 USATF Nationals. She finished fifth in her heat with a 11"31 and refused to speak to reporters. We were all expecting to see her to fly through the event with ease but it wasn't the case. What we know for sure now is that, Sha'Carri unfortunately won't be able to represent team USA on the 100m at the next IAAF world championships that will take place 15-24 July 2022 in Eugene, which mean that we won't be able to see the longing confrontation with the Jamaican fastest's woman Elaine Thompson on 100m, So, for the one who was waiting the whole year for that, you will have to wait a little bit longer.
Despite this hard beginning at the Nationals Richardson's chance to make the team are not totally dead, she still have the 200m on saturday 25, so her hopes of making the U.S. team still alive.
